What was your biggest wedding planning challenge, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest wedding day challenge was staying away from the set up and letting my day of coordinator take over. I am a perfectionist and had been planning this day for a year right down to the little details. That made it hard to give the reigns over to someone else. Luckily, she surpassed my expectations and everything looked even better than I had imagined.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding planning?

The most memorable part of my wedding was creating the table place holders for the guests with their names. My husband and mother helped and I’m pretty sure I drove them nuts trying to perfect every one!

 
 
 

Did you have a First Look?

No, but we had a moment to hold hands in a door way and pray together before hand without seeing each other.

What advice would you like to impart to other couples planning their weddings?

Try not to stress the small things or the things you have no control over that may come up. Also enjoy your wedding… it feels like it went by in the blink of an eye.

What excites you most about being married?

I am most excited about the thought of us spending the rest of our lives together and the meaning behind the vows.
